Asharah Mubasharah

Asharah Mubasharah: (Arabic: عشره مبشره)

The word Asharah Mubasharah refers to the ten companions of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) who were given the glad tidings of paradise in this world.

They are as follows:

1. Abu Bakr As-Siddiq
   
2. bin Al-Khattab
   
3. Uthman ibn Affan
   
4. Ali ibn Abi Talib
   
5. Talha ibn Ubayd-Ullah
   
6. Zubayr ibn al-Awwam
   
7. Abdur-Rahman ibn Auf
   
8. Sa'ad ibn Abi Waqqas
   
9. Abu-Ubaida ibn al-Jarrah
   
10. Said ibn Zayd (May Allah be pleased with them all)
