Islam (Arabic: اسلام)

Islam is the religion of billions of people all over the world. In fact, it has been proved from statistics that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world today.

Although Islam is much misunderstood, many people fail to look further into its teachings. Aswell as the word islam meaning 'to submit', it also means 'peace', hence Islam is the religion of peace, the preacher of peace and the provider of peace.

From the teachings of Islam, we learn that keeping family ties, leaving out racism and loving for ones brother what one loves for oneself are just a few of its many great lessons.

Unfortunately today, people carry out atrocious crimes in the name of Islam. For this reason, all of the followers of this faith are mistreated and this leads to the misrepresentation of Islam. Little do they know that Islam does not teach such morals but rather, creating peace between the many religions and people in order to live life in peace, justice and harmony.
