Madhab pl. Madhaahib (Arabic: مذهب pl. مذاهب ) is an Arabic term that refers to an islamic school of thought or fiqh (religious jurisprudence). There are four schools of thought, which are Hanafi, Shafi'i, Maliki and Hanbali.
